Adrian's Explorations -- Chapter 4
School is really dragging on today. Time seems to have
stopped. I couldn't care less, though; I can't pay any attention at all. I only
can think about Tyler. It seems surreal that just yesterday, he admitted he
likes me, and we kissed. I like him too, but I'm not sure how exactly I
feel. This is all too new for me. I know I want to kiss him again as soon as
possible, but... I can't describe it. It's just that I am not sure if I like him
the same way he likes me. As a matter of fact I don't know in which way he
likes me exactly. Well, I can guess, but I need to clarify things.
Tyler seems lost in his thoughts too. He sits across the
room, quite far away, sadly. We didn't talk about what happened though.
However, we said that we'll try to have him stay over at my place tonight. Hopefully
we'll get to talk about things. I think we need to.
As I am checking my watch to see the time, the bell rings.
Well, that was it for today. I collect my stuff from the desk, and head towards
Dan. We don't say anything, just start walking out. As we arrive on the street,
I say:
"So, don't forget to ask your mom if you can stay at my
house tonight."
"Sure will."
"Hope this works out."
"Yeah, me too. We need to talk about ...things." he sais hesitantly
"I think so too. Well, call me when you find out."
"Will do."
After a short while, we said goodbye, and went to
our homes. As I enter mine, I am greeted by my mom.
"Hello, Adrian. How was school today?" she asks
"It was fine. Nothing exciting though."
"Not surprising! You find nothing exciting lately!" she tells me jokingly
"Mom, can Tyler stay over tonight?"
"Oh dear... Am I going to regret this?"
"No of course not! We'll behave."
"Well, then I suppose he may come. Does his mother know?"
"No, not yet. He'll ask, and call me to tell me."
"Very well. Let me know when he does."
"Will do, thanks!"
Having arranged permission for Tyler to stay over, I head to my room, and turn on my PC. I have nothing
particular to do on it, but I guess I'm just used to doing so when I come in my
room. I am signed in automatically on my messenger, and I see that Dan is
